Monica Switzer is originally from Maryland, but currently lives in Alexandria, VA. She graduated from Towson University with a BA in Elementary & Special Education and graduated with her MA in Reading Education with a concentration in English as a Second Language from Towson University. She taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Baltimore for 5 years. This is her third year at Kent Gardens Elementary. Last year she was Miss Potts and she got married this summer! Mrs. Switzer loves to travel, exercise, read, and spend time with her husband, family, and friends.
