Joëlle Peeters is from the Loire Valley and Provence in France. She earned a Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France and obtained her teaching license in the US fourteen years ago. Before teaching at Kent Gardens, she taught French at a middle school in Williamsburg, VA. This is Ms. Peeters’ fifth year teaching 5th-grade math and science in the French Immersion Program. She loves travelling, reading, and taking long walks. Her husband is Belgian-American, and they speak French at home with their four daughters, who were all born in the States.
