Jennifer (Jenn) Kyaw grew up in Alexandria, VA and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and with a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University. This school year will mark her sixth year teaching and her third year at Kent Gardens Elementary School. Having taught middle school math (grades 6-8) in Baltimore, MD and primary school math (grades 1-6) in Thailand before joining the sixth grade team at Kent Gardens, Jenn has experience in both the upper and lower grades. In her free time, Jenn loves baking, beaches, hiking, running, playing tennis, and traveling. Jenn loves to smile, laugh, learn, and grow every day, especially with the people around her, and she is very excited for another year in 6th grade!
