Karla Jeolas was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds two Bachelor's Degrees from Brazil, one in Psychology and another in Design. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education at George Mason University.  After two years working for a private school in Alexandria, she joined FCPS and started working at Kent Gardens last year. She has a seven-year-old son, Daniel, who will be starting third grade at KG and a two-year old, Helena. Karla enjoys spending time with her family, loves going to the beach and drinking coffee. She loves the KG Pride culture and is looking forward to working with her new students this school year!
