Mr. Blake grew up in Northern Virginia and attended Fairfax County Public Schools. He earned his Undergraduate and Masters Degrees from James Madison University. In high school he was interested in business and education. He worked at summer camps during the summer, participated in a teacher cadet class in high school, and coached a U-12 Boys Soccer team his senior year of high school with friends. In his free time he enjoys traveling around the world with his wife, tending to his garden, managing his stocks, and playing on his weekly adult Basketball and Soccer leagues. He also has a cat named Tiberius.
