Laurel Le Moigne is eager to begin her third year at Kent Gardens. She grew up in Silver Spring, MD and attended a French immersion school. Laurel then graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in English & American History (with French minor). After graduating, she taught in France for two years before returning to the U.S. to complete a Masters of Secondary Education at Johns Hopkins University. She spent nine years teaching middle school French and English. After discovering the incredible French immersion program, she transitioned to elementary school. She is thrilled to work at the same school her three children attend and to be part of the fantastic KG community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys running, reading, and writing.
