Kate Boehm is starting her ninth year at Kent Gardens. Mme Boehm has two children, Rose (18) and Sam (11). Kate graduated with a BA in French Teaching from Purdue University, studied at the Sorbonne and has spent time teaching in South Carolina, Paris, France, and Indianapolis before moving to Virginia. Through these experiences, Mme Boehm has had the opportunity to impart her love of the French language and culture to both older and younger students. She has an enriching background in language acquisition and education that she brings to the classroom.
It was after living in France that Mme Boehm developed her love of cooking. On the weekends, you could possibly spot Mme Boehm at one of the local farmer’s markets! In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading and photography. She is looking forward to teaching 2nd grade. It happens to be one of her favorite ages to teach.
